Born out of a desire to bridge the gap between the drudgery of daily life and a sense of holism, this weekend's Serenity Festival intends to be more than a typical wellness event.
According to co-organiser Cindy Schutte, it will be an immersive, vibrant celebration of life, healing, and personal transformation.
"People are often quite content in their comfort zones," said Schutte, "but the best way to get them out of that zone is through play. That's why the festival is designed with elements of fantasy, incredible costumes, and performances it's an experience that invites people to step out of their daily routine and into something magical." The event's intent is to manifest this.
"We've gathered some of thee most remarkable healers and therapists," Schutte said.
The festival will feature a large menu of exhibitors across all areas of healing, alternative philosophy and therapies. Schutte is the co-founder of Hive Mind, an organisation that wants to bring this vision to life. "There's so much happening in the world that people aren't talking about," said Schutte. "They're just accepting what they're told without asking the important questions." realisation This was also the genesis of her own spiritual journey, ditching corporate life to become a holistic therapist. "When people don't live their authentic truth, it can manifest as illness in the body," she said.
