The Buccaneers maintained their perfect league record this season with a fourth successive win as goals in each half from Evidence Makgopa and Deon Hotto earned them a 2-0 victory over SuperSport United at Orlando Stadium on Tuesday night.

The win propelled Pirates to the top of the Betway Premiership standings before being overhauled by Mamelodi Sundowns on goal difference after Downs beat Royal AM 2-1 last night.
