The Citizen|November 01, 2024
The arrival of the World Odyssey at the Port of Cape Town last week marked the start of South Africa's 2024-25 cruise season.
Terri-Ann Brouwers

Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) said this week that it was set to handle 268 passenger liners across the country's seven commercial seaports, a 29% increase from the previous year's 207 calls.

Cape Town, recently recognised as "Africa's leading cruise port" in the annual World Travel Awards, anticipates 88 port call-ins, making it the busiest port of the season.
