Nicola Rossouw represented SA in an international heyball contest in Poland in July, alongside other African nations, including Morocco and Egypt.

SA's heyball team shines in Europe

They faced off formidable European teams, showcasing their skills on a global stage.

But despite the excitement surrounding the sport, Rossouw candidly shared her concerns about the lack of exposure and coverage of heyball in SA.

"We do not have so much exposure in this game, locally and internationally," she remarked.

"I always tell the guys: "That's where we fail'.

"We are so far behind.

"Other countries are advancing rapidly, while we struggle to gain recognition."
