Remarkably, over 53,000 citizens visited the Assembly's gallery during this period to witness history in the making. The assembly was a microcosm of India's diverse society, comprising accomplished members from various walks of life. Among them were 15 pioneering women, whose contributions in areas like education, social reform, and the freedom movement helped shape a progressive Constitution.
