Haryana Vidhan Sabha special session was called on Wednesday after Nayab Singh Saini assumed office as Chief Minister of Haryana on Tuesday. As the House proceedings started, Congress veteran Bharat Bhushan Batra came up with a point of order stating that why the session was called in a haste and necessary steps should have taken to ensure the timely sharing of the information regarding the aforesaid. Speaker Gian Chand Gupta ruled the point of order is invalid.
The House witnessed a lot of commotion as the Congress MLAs started sloganeering when former CM Manohar Lal started speaking in reply to the point of order out by congress MLAs. While reacting to the queries raised by the Congress legislators, Gyanchand Gupta said since he along with Governor Bandaru Dattatrey was divulged information pertaining bringing confidence motion on February 13, there is no point in questioning the same.
