Senior party leader and Delhi minister Atishi said this would be an insult to the Constitution as chief minister Arvind Kejriwal had only in February proved his majority on the floor of the Delhi Assembly.
The Delhi minister said there are several indications that the Centre may be working on the notion of imposing President's Rule. She said it is through "reliable sources" that they have come to know about this. Atishi said it was as part of this plan to topple the elected government in Delhi that Kejriwal was arrested without any proof in a fake case.
