In a conference ‘Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare 2.0’, a live demonstration of AIG Hospitals’ indigenously developed AI-powered Colonoscopy procedure, performed by Dr. Rakesh Kalapala, Director of the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Innovation caught the eye of participants.
This technology will help GI endoscopists perform colonoscopy with better efficiency as AI-based system will help detect polyps that are difficult to see through naked eye or can be easily missed.
These polyps when left undetected can potentially become cancerous in the future.
