'Contaminated water, power cuts, honeybee onslaught

Mhalunge's upscale housing society is an island of troubles

Residents of VTP Alpine, an upscale society in Mhalunge, are grappling with a multitude of problems including a water crisis and frequent power cuts, further compounded by an unexpected influx of honeybees on the premises.

For the past three months, residents have been contending with tap water that is contaminated and emits a foul odour. Concerns have also arisen over the alleged presence of white worms in drinking water and red worms in other household water outlets.
