Over a month after cracks surfaced on the approach road to Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL), the Bombay High Court has upheld the closure orders of stone-crushing plants in the vicinity. The court noted that it's a necessary "pro-tem (for the time being) measure" until a thorough inspection and verification is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) or any other competent institution to prove a connection with the operation of stone crushers.
