Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday launched a blistering attack on Jharkhand's Hemant Soren government over infiltration into the state and called JMM-led coalition "Ghuspaithiya Bandhan" (infiltration alliance) and "Mafia Ka Ghulam" (mafia's slave) for allegedly supporting Bangladeshi infiltrators.

Addressing an election rally in Garhwa, Modi contended that appeasement politics had crossed all limits in Jharkhand even as the JMM-led coalition was allegedly 'busy supporting' Bangladeshi infiltrators. He said that the tribal population in Jharkhand would decline if this government continued in the office.

"The politics of appeasement of JMM-Congress-RJD in Jharkhand is a big threat to both our tribal society and the security of the country. It puts appeasement at the top of its agenda," he remarked while taking a potshot at Jharkhand government a week ahead of the first phase of assembly polls. For vote bank politics, the Jharkhand government is getting Bangladeshi infiltrators settled across the state, he added.
