Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted how a decade of good governance has strengthened national unity and effectively addressed issues of discrimination.
Under the principle of "Sauno Saath, Sauno Vikas," the government ensures that benefits from various schemes reach all eligible beneficiaries without discrimination.
At the National Unity Day celebrations at the towering Statue of Sardar Patel in Ekta Nagar, Prime Minister reaffirmed the government's commitment to national unity through a range of transformative schemes.
Alongside initiatives like One Nation-One Ration, One Nation-One Identity, One Nation-One Tax, One Nation-One Power Grid, and One Nation-One Health Insurance, the government is now advancing One Nation-One Secular Civil Code and One Nation-One Election.
The Prime Minister emphasized the principle of equality before the law and highlighted the success in reducing discontent by making benefits accessible to all through schemes such as Har Ghar Jal, Kisan Samman Nidhi, PM Awas Yojana, and Ayushman Bharat.
This pro-people approach has allowed millions to benefit from these initiatives.
Illustrating the unity fostered by government policies, the PM mentioned how essential services like railways, highways, and internet connectivity are now reaching villages nationwide, including remote areas like the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.
