While pubs and restaurants bring out several attractive offers to attract consumers on New Year's Eve celebrations, a pub in Pune has stoked a controversy by sending condoms and ORS with the invite for parties. The unusual invitation has sparked widespread outrage, prompting the police to intervene and record statements from the invitees.

A restaurant-cum-pub located in Mundhwa, Pune, sent objectionable invitations to its regular customers, mostly youngsters, on the occasion of New Year. The invitations were accompanied by condoms and ORS.
