Anthology's writers to read at book launch

POET KENNY KNIGHT'S 'CLUTTER' EVENT AT CENTRAL LIBRARY

AN anthology of work by some of Plymouth's best writers has been published and will be launched at a special event in the city.

The first edition of Clutter is now on sale and will be available when some of the writers included in it read their pieces at the Central Library, on the corner of Armada Way and Mayflower Street, on Wednesday, July 19, between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.

The event is open to all and admission is free.

Clutter is the brainchild of Plymouth poet Kenny Knight, who will celebrate 10 years of running open mic event Cross Country Writers in August. And he has included some of the many Plymouth writers who have read at the regular meetings, held these days twice a month.

Kenny and co-editor Sara Elizabeth Smiles said that for years they have talked about some form of Cross Country Writers publication and now they have collected work from 25 people who read at the open mic events between 2013 and 2020.
