WAYNE Rooney is expecting to receive an apology about an overturned penalty decision which went against Plymouth Argyle in the opening seconds of their Championship match at Millwall.
The Pilgrims went on to suffer their fifth away league defeat of the season out of six games as they lost 1-0, but it could have been a very different story had a spot kick awarded to them within 30 seconds of the kick-off been allowed to stand. Referee Sam Allison blew for a penalty after a foul on Mustapha Bundu but one of his assistants raised his flag to indicate the Argyle attacker had been offside.
