A FIRE in a Plymouth city centre car park has caused major problems for disabled shoppers.
Police are investigating the cause of the blaze at Mayflower Street East car park, which happened at about 7pm last Saturday.
The fire caused extensive damage to a door into the Access Plymouth offices in the ground floor of the car park. It meant the charity, which provides mobility help for disabled people, was not able to operate on Monday, and one doorway into the building was put out of action.
