PLANS have been submitted to create a café/bar on a revamped terrace at the top of Plymouth's Tinside Lido.
Plymouth City Council is applying for lottery cash to carry out the work and also spruce up Mount Batten and Mount Edgcumbe, as well as host activities on the waterfront.
The council wants to restore the first floor of the Tinside Lido building and turn it into a multi-purpose space and café/bar.
Also, Building B, located between the pool and Tinside Cove, will be refurbished for use as a youth outreach/watersports hub, enabling youth workers to help young people build confidence, develop skills and take part in marine-related training to learn about jobs in the "blue" marine sector.
