Destructive Stevenson continues to dominate

The cherry on top of Stevenson's mammoth haul was a 101 checkout and one of the four maximums plundered by the two sides.

Team-mates Mark Turner and Col Maddocks added a 180 each, whilst the only effort garnered by the visitors was from the arm of Bob Wood.

That Wood effort was one of 11 three-figure scores he put onto the scoreboard as the standout player in the match overall.

Another 11-ton hitter was Stevenson's team-mate Andy Malinowski, whilst Lewis Dare also added ten tons. In the singles phase, Stevenson put up legs in 11 and 15 darts in his 3-0 success, whilst Lewis Dare triumphed by the same scoreline with a 17-dart leg his best.

Lee Soper's 11 tons were joined by Paul Freeman's 180 and an 81 checkout from Steve Williams in a 7-4 win for Williams' Victoria away at Kings Tamerton.

Mike Sant's ten tons couldn't arrest Kings Arms A's slide to a 9-2 defeat in their visit to title chasing Ker St, for whom the evergreen Ralph Lancaster checked 80 in a single visit.

Three maximums lit up Clifton's 8-3 win over Cherry Tree B with Logan Carroll and Paul Hoare adding to a solitary effort from Wayne Davis.

A 17-darter from Dan Jewell during his 3-0 individual triumph was the best recorded leg of 501 during the heavy win for the Greenbank side.

Mark Langdon picked up the league's highest checkout with a fine 126 kill over the in-form Fawn B, who made it four wins from five with a 7-4 away win.
