A SOUTH HAMS schoolgirl has won a national contest for artwork promoting careers in the NHS.
Emma Jamin, a pupil at Ivybridge Community College, created a poster promoting the job of a paramedic, which won her regional honours in the Step Into The NHS national competition.
Emma, aged 13, was named South West secondary school winner in the competition, which is part of a drive to promote more than 350 careers available within the NHS.
