NEARLY two years after its closure, a pub on the fringes of Dartmoor is still seeking new proprietors.
Taken over by managers Jason and Lisa Gee in April 2021, the Bay Horse, Ashburton, has been vacant since July 30, 2022 following the pair’s exit and pub company Admiral Tavern’s decision to sell it.
A week ahead of closing, Jason and Lisa informed patrons that Admiral Taverns had decided to put The Bay Horse up for sale via a Facebook post: “As we count down to our last day here due to the unfortunate public sale of The Bay Horse, there’s no time for sadness, only laughter so here goes with the final activities.”
