RUN AT CHURCH IN MUTLEY BY COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS

Foodbank gives all you need for a £2 donation

THERE'S a place in Plymouth where people who are struggling can get the food and supplies they need for £2. The community foodbank was set up for those who can't get the traditional foodbank tokens, but still need a helping hand.

It is run by volunteers at Hillsborough Spiritualist Church in Mutley every Wednesday - and is there for anyone who may need it. All that is asked is that users make a donation of £2 - but volunteers won't turn anyone away.

The foodbank has been run by the volunteers since January 2021 for all, to just "help people that need help"

People wishing to use the bank just need to bring a bag and pay a £2 donation. They can then take items that they need the only ask is that people just take one of each item. There is a bag of fruit and vegetables for each person too.
