AN “outstanding” Plymouth special school where pupils are “thriving” has again been praised by Ofsted inspectors. They said youngsters at Brook Green Centre for Learning feel “happy and safe”, in a school that “cares deeply” for them.
Brook Green was first given the highest possible ranking by the education inspectorate in 2014 – seven years after it was judged to be just “satisfactory”. The latest report by Ofsted this month – the school’s first inspection since the Covid pandemic – saw it retain the elite status with another glowing review.
