ONE of Plymouth's most historic pubs, which only recently underwent major renovations, could be set for even more changes.
Stonehouse's Victualling Office Tavern (VOT) had been closed for about four years until it reopened in November 2022, after a £200,000plus renovation.
Warren and Lucy Kressinger-Dunn bought the property, close to the Royal William Yard, in February 2022, in a deal which included the 19th century pub and its adjoining cottage. Now, after creating a 21st century business inside the historic shell, they plan on making more changes.
A planning application has been submitted to Plymouth City Council for a new structure which would contain a dining area to capitalise on the waterfront view as well as a new flat.
