Parkway are due to host rock bottom Didcot Town tonight, but after a day of rain yesterday, there will be some nervous people at the club, who will be desperate to get the game on for so many reasons. Not least of all because Parkway now finds themselves in the thick of a relegation dogfight.
The club still have plenty of games in hand in which to turn their season around, but it is now eight games without a win for luckless Parkway, who have picked up only two points in that run. It means they are six points adrift of safety, but with tonight’s opponents bottom and almost certain to go down, a win would go some way to improving the mood around the club right now.
