Win those two games and the manager feels his side will be safe from relegation after they fell back into the bottom four with that defeat at Didcot and other teams around them picking up points at the weekend.
“In my opinion, we need probably six points,” Hobbs said. “Currently, we have two games left (at Bolitho Park) and if we win those two home games, I’d like to think it’s enough. If we can get a couple of points on the road this week – Tuesday and Thursday – I’ll take it. If we can get more than that, I’d be happy and if we can get the maximum, I’ll be ecstatic.
“But it is another brutal week for us on the road, a relatively shorter one to Poole and then obviously a big one to London (Hanwell) and that will make it 15 away games out of 17 games on the spin.
