AN inquest has been opened into the unexpected death of a highly regarded Plymouth bodybuilder who once battled a raging mastiff dog which attacked and nearly killed two women.
The brief hearing took place on September 5 at Plymouth Coroner's Court when coroner Michael Bird opened the inquest into the death of Matthew Beddow. During the short hearing the court heard how Mr Beddow was born in Plymouth and lived in Granby Street. He died at home, aged 49, on August 9.
