A checkout of 79 from Del Bryce and a maximum from team-mate Sean Taylor couldn't arrest Legends Lounge's slide to an 8-5 defeat to Falstaff.
A 7-6 win for Tradesmans B over Grenville contained three maximums between the two sides as Rob May and David Young added to Matt Legge's effort.
Legge's team-mate Harry Harrison finished at the first time of asking from 96 whilst the game's hero was Chris Adams who won the last game with the scores tied at 6-6.
An 11-2 home win for Octagon over Cherry Tree saw Chris Edgcumbe and Paul Barclay provide moments of magic with a 74 checkout and a maximum respectively.
