Lane injury adds to the woes of Parkway in Bracknell loss

PLYMOUTH Parkway's hectic schedule continued with their third game in five days, but it ended in defeat at play-off hopefuls Bracknell Town.

With squad rotation in mind, four changes were made from Thursday's draw with Winchester City. Callum Rose, Matt Wright, Callum Hall and Oscar Halls started in place of Toby Down, Reece Thomson, Rio Garside and Shane White.

Parkway forced a corner in the first minute which was cleared with Bracknell immediately braking away with Adam Parkes gathering the early cross.

The game was being played at a lively pace and the home side took the lead on seven minutes after a break wide on the left found Haydon Vaughan in the clear with his outrageous angled cross cum shot from distance flying over a startled Parkes into the top corner.

Luck or judgement? Only Vaughan will know. This seemed to rock Parkway but inspire Bracknell, who began to dominate in all areas moving the ball at pace and finding space in wide areas with Parkway struggling to gain or retain any decent possession.
