MOST Plymothians know Jennycliff well as somewhere with great views and surrounding walks. Most will also know the famous Jennycliff Café, possibly the county’s most picturesque spot for a home-made scone.
Tony Wong, 61, owns the family café which he runs with his wife and his son, Dan, 22. Before taking on the Jennycliff site, Tony owned and worked in various restaurants and takeaways, including the Hooe Fish Bar.
As soon as he saw the café, he knew it had to be his next venture. He said he fell in love with it the first time he saw it and did not even give it a second thought.
