McPhee knows the importance of clash with Marlow

IT is still too early in the season to be talking about 'must win' games, but the importance of Plymouth Parkway's Southern League Premier Division clash with Marlow tomorrow should not be underestimated.

Parkway are in the relegation zone and four points adrift of safety, while tomorrow's opponents are bottom of the table, but only three points behind Chris McPhee's side. A defeat would not condemn the Yellows to relegation, but it would certainly raise more questions than answers at Bolitho Park.

"The way that we have tried to approach the season, every game we go into, we go with the intent of winning," McPhee said. "It is even more important when you are facing teams in and around you within the league, especially when we are in a position where we want to get up the league and into a position that we feel reflects our level of performances recently and where we feel we are in terms of our development.

"Yes, it is a massive game for us, the boys are really looking forward to it and hoping to continue some of our good form, good performances and energy we are putting on the pitch and we are going into confident and with belief and making sure that we continue to create chances and take chances.
