A WOMAN who has been walking the South West Coast Path to raise awareness of teenage suicide after losing her own daughter, completed a planned route to Plymouth – but has now decided to continue walking all the way to Swanage.
Lisa Franklin lost her daughter Charlotte five years ago, and decided to walk a 400-mile section of the coast path to raise money for the charity PAPYRUS.
Having started on May 27 – which was Charlotte’s birthday – Lisa arrived in Plymouth last weekend, having raised more than £8,600 in the process.
But the 55-year-old yoga teacher did not want to stop there, and has now set off again, aiming to walk the full 630 miles by arriving in Swanage in Dorset at the end of this month.
