PLANS for Plymouth's new Community Diagnostic Centre have been submitted for approval.
The new centre, in Plymouth's West End, would allow people to receive early tests and diagnosis without heading to Derriford Hospital.
Ahead of the arrival of the new building, staff at a temporary CT scanner unit at Colin Campbell Court are already seeing 250 patients each week. The proposed facility aims to reduce health inequities for those living in areas of greater deprivation in Plymouth and improve overall health outcomes.
