THE disused top deck of Plymouth's iconic Tinside Lido is being transformed in a stylish al fresco cafe and events space, thanks to National Lottery funding. Several waterfront landmarks are getting some TLC as part of the National Marine Park's ambition to encourage more people to use them.
Heritage features at Tinside Pool, Mount Batten and the Garden Battery at Mount Edgcumbe Park will receive significant but sensitive makeovers. A number of planning applications and listed building consents are being submitted.
