DUTCH winger Ibrahim Cissoko believes Wayne Rooney is ‘the perfect coach’ for him and the Plymouth Argyle boss will let him play with freedom.
Cissoko joined the Pilgrims earlier this month on a season-long loan from French Ligue 1 club Toulouse and is out to ‘entertain, score goals and create something out of nowhere’, which is an exciting prospect for the Green Army.
The 21-year-old has played in all three warm-up matches so far ahead of the 2024/25 Championship campaign, most recently as one of 10 substitutes who were sent on by Rooney in the 60th minute of the 2-0 win at Torquay United on Saturday.
Cissoko said: “I think they have been good games. Saturday was not so much minutes, so not so much time to express myself, but I have a good feeling. I really like the team.
