Anvar targets CPM, says will expose ‘graft' in public meet

AFTER the CPM severed ties with him and began organising protests against him, Nilambur MLA P V Anvar has embarked on his journey as an independent people's representative.

To garner support, Anvar announced on Saturday that he would hold a public meeting in Nilambur on Sunday.

He pledged to expose corrupt elements within the police department and the connections between top political leaders across all parties in the state.

"Our state is going through a challenging phase. People have forgotten how to stand up against illegal and criminal activities. The police department has failed to locate the missing Balussery resident Mohammed Attoor, also known as Mami, and has done nothing to bring the culprit in the Ridan Basil murder case to justice. Youngsters are being wrongfully booked under narcotics charges," Anvar said.
