Employees protest at HQ, seek Sebi chief's resignation

FRESH trouble is brewing up for Sebi chairperson Madahabi Puri Buch as employees held a protest at the securities market regulator's Mumbai headquarters in Mumbai on Thursday, demanding her resignation.

These employees demanded withdrawing the Sebi statement calling the letters sent by them on unprofessional work culture to finance ministry as "misguided by external elements". As per sources, nearly 200 employees held a protest at the regulator's headquarters at Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC).
