The New Indian Express had profiled the FPO in its Brightside section on December 1. In his monthly radio programme 'Mann-Ki-Baat', Modi said the FPO is writing a new story of success despite a paucity of water and resources in the region.
The initiative was started by 51-year-old Krushna Nag in Sanchergaon village under Golamunda block and with the help of a few lead vegetable grower-entrepreneur farmers, the FPO was registered in 2022 with just 10 members from eight GPs.
