From its rather modest beginnings, Edwin Academy, which formally commenced operations at Mizone incubation centre of Kerala Startup Mission in Mangattuparamba, Kannur in 2022, has indeed come a long way. As the pioneering initiative established by Muhammed Ameen and Jamsheer E, who are the CEO and Chief Marketing Officer of the company, respectively, celebrates its third anniversary on Jan 1, 2025, the founders can reflect upon their endeavour with justifiable pride and satisfaction.
Unemployment is a significant challenge for the younger generation. Edwin Academy's mission is to offer a solution to this issue. The academy bridges the gap between students' aspirations and their academic qualifications by equipping them with essential skills and assisting them in securing employment.
"After getting to know the industry requirements, we drum in the necessary skills in graduates and postgraduates so as to make them industry-ready. We also provide placement assistance and around 3,000 candidates have been ensured placements with various firms until now. Besides, there are several Edwin Academy alumni who have managed to find placements on their own," he affirmed.
