THE COORDINATION of Islamic Colleges (CIC) will not accept any demands from the Samastha Kerala Jem-iyyathul Ulama (Samastha) that conflict with the CIC's constitution, said CIC general secretary Abdul Hakeem Faizy Adrisseri.
He was speaking at a press conference held in Malappuram on Saturday to discuss the upcoming State Wafi-Wafiyya Arts Festival, scheduled for January 15 and 16 in Kochi.
"There are two matters on which we could not reach an agreement with Samastha. The CIC is registered under the Societies Registration Act, and its general body has approved all demands from Samastha that align with the provisions of its constitution. However, we cannot accept demands that contradict the CIC's constitutional framework," Adrisseri stated.
