EVERY household in Soraba taluk will soon have access to clean drinking water from the Sharavathi Reservoir under a Rs 660 crore project, said School Education, Literacy and District Minister Madhu Bangarappa.
He also announced that a Rs 980 crore project will also be launched as an alternative to the Dandavathi project to benefit farmers and residents.
Madhu was addressing the gathering after inaugurating 17 building projects worth Rs 1,200 crore and laying foundation stones for 16 others costing Rs 40 crore at the government school at Samanavalli in Soraba taluk on Saturday.
