FOUR Myanmar fishermen were apprehended by the Indian Coast Guard on Friday after their raft allegedly crossed the International Maritime Boundary Line.

They were handed over to Coastal Security Group in Nagapattinam for further legal action on the following day.

Sources said Coast Guard personnel led by Deputy Commandant R Ganesh were patrolling near Nagapattinam in their vessel C-436, when a fishing group from Akkaraipettai in Nagapattinam district alerted them that they saw a wooden raft in the Indian waters.
