Agra man kills mom, 4 sisters in Lucknow hotel over property dispute

A man, in his mid-20s, killed his four sisters and mother in connivance with his father inside a hotel room in Lucknow on Wednesday.

The man, identified as Arshad, then walked to the police station and surrendered but not before dropping his father Mohammed Badar at the Charbagh railway station.

The family hailed from Agra and had come to Lucknow after a visit to Ajmer.

Arshad later alleged land-related harassment by some members of his community in their hometown Agra and claimed they were plotting to sell his sisters in Hyderabad.
