By understanding photography, people develop the ability to see, comprehend, and communicate visually. The Chennai Photo Biennale Foundation (CPB) is dedicated to this mission through various initiatives, offering workshops, online learning modules, public programmes, exhibitions, and showcasing the work of international photographers and filmmakers. "We started with a workspace under a shed with three schools last year and now we've expanded to five schools with almost 45-50 students from each school," says Uday Gnanadason, a CPB member.
Displaying the results of the efforts of their photography training 'Colours of Pulianthope', a student photography exhibition was held at the Chennai Corporation Higher Secondary School, Pulianthope, on Friday, in association with Greater Chennai Corporation. Around 60 pictures clicked by over 50 students from classes 4 to 9 were on display.
