A FAMILY'S LEGACY OF COMPASSION: Arlington Memorial Chapels offers care in life's most vulnerable moments

As the world observes All Saints' Day, we are reminded of the importance of sanctuaries offering comfort in times of profound loss. Property Report spoke with the family behind Arlington Memorial Chapels, a family-owned institution that has transformed property into a compassionate business. Committed to helping families navigate life's most challenging moments, Arlington stands out as a haven where care, empathy, and a legacy of service have been cultivated over three generations. Led today by Rafael "Raffy" S. Jose, President and CEO, Arlington is more than just a traditional memorial service provider—it's a legacy of empathy and care cultivated over three generations.

THE BEGINNINGS OF A LEGACY
Founded in 1982 by Nestor L. Jose, Arlington Memorial Chapels began with a unique vision of service. After years of supplying caskets and equipment to the funeral industry, Nestor saw a need for a space centered around personalized care and comfort for grieving families. His passing in 1992 marked a pivotal transition, with his children continuing his dream of treating every client like family. Now led by Raffy, along with key family members Bettina Margarita V. Jose, managing director of the Customer Care Group, and Isabella Jose Gregorio, Certified Memorial Celebrant and head of The Arlington Tribute Center, Arlington remains guided by its motto, "One Team, One Family."

Reflecting on his father's legacy, Raffy shares, "Our father built this business with the aim of creating a comforting space for families in need. He would always say, 'Treat everyone as you would treat your own family.' That's a philosophy we live by every day at Arlington."
