In a significant move towards improving financial services and expanding market reach, Chinabank and Visa have officially entered into a strategic partnership marking the beginning of a promising collaboration aimed at leveraging each company's strengths to deliver innovative banking solutions.

This partnership is expected to create new opportunities, broaden their market presence, and drive growth in the financial sector, benefiting customers and stakeholders alike.

Chinabank and Visa cemented its partnership with a contract signing ceremony at China Banking Corporation Head Office Boardroom in Makati, on Aug. 13, 2024 with Chinabank's and Visa's top executives. The signatories include Chinabank chief finance officer Patrick Cheng; Chinabank director Claire Ann Yap; Chinabank EVP and Consumer Banking Segment head Aloysius Alday, Jr.; Visa Group country manager for Regional Southeast Asia Arturo Planell; and Visa Philippines country manager Jeffrey Navarro.

"Our partnership with Visa represents a significant and exciting collaboration aimed at enhancing customer experience and expanding our product and service offerings," shares Aloysius Alday, Jr., Chinabank EVP and Consumer Banking Segment head. He adds.

"This strategic alliance leverages Visa's extensive network and innovative payment solutions to bring added value to our clients." As part of this collaboration, Chinabank is poised to launch the Chinabank Velvet Signature this coming October 2024-Chinabank's first-ever Visa-branded credit card.

This premier credit card is tailored for the modern, aspiring, goaloriented woman and distinguishes itself with exclusive perks and rewards tailored specifically for Chinabank's clientele.

The Chinabank Velvet Signature Visa is the first of numerous projects shared by Chinabank and Visa. Both companies are currently working on opportunities for further collaborations which includes joint marketing efforts, co-branded offerings, and additional services.

This alliance is expected to pioneer new frontiers not only in financial services, but also in market expansion by expanding Chinabank's repertoire of products and services through Visa's extensive network.
