President Marcos has signed into law 18 measures declaring holidays, establishing marine hatcheries and hospitals and creating court branches.

Marcos signs 18 local laws

Republic Act 12097 declared June 20 of every year a special working holiday in Guinayangan, Quezon province in commemoration of its founding anniversary while RA 12098 declared April 4 a special non-working holiday in Antipolo City, Rizal in commemoration of its cityhood anniversary.

A special non-working holiday to be known as "Benguet Day" was declared in the province every Nov. 23 to commemorate its foundation day, through RA 12099.
