State Secondary Board Issues Guidelines For Teachers, Students

The strictures are to bring in more discipline in state-run schools

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education issued strictures today for teachers. The board announced that teachers coming to school beyond 11.15 a.m. would be marked as "absent" and after 10.40 a.m. would be marked "late" from the 2025 new academic year. It made clear that schools would begin sharp at 10.40 a.m.
