Two senior leaders and MLA ticket aspirants of the BRS today joined the Congress with their supporters in New Delhi in the presence of party president Mallikarjun Kharge.
Aware of the discontent among those denied tickets BRS supremo and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao tried to pacify some of the disgruntled sitting MLAs as well as the ones who had recently joined from the Congress. Former deputy chief minister T Rajaiah who was denied ticket from Ghanpur Station Assembly Constituency since the nomination went to his archrival Kadiyam Srihari, was appointed as the chairman of Telangana Rythu Bandhu Samiti. Sitting MLA from Jangaon Muthireddy Yadagiri Reddy who was also denied a renomination was appointed as TSRTC chairman.
