The Governor of West Bengal Dr C V Ananda Bose today said that he would discuss with the Railway Ministry as well as the state government about the demand of a job for the deceased’s next of kin.
Governor Dr Bose today interacted with the deceased’s family members at Chouduar village near Pukuria under Ratua II block in Malda district.
“There was a demand from all relatives to the victims that one of a family at least must be given a job. I would discuss about the matter with Railway Ministry as well as the state government,” Dr Bose said.
He also distributed assistance and cheque for compensation, provided by the railway, among deceased’s next of kin there.
