SIA relocating corporate headquarters to new hub in Upper Changi Road East

Singapore Airlines (SIA) will be relocating its corporate headquarters to a newly established hub at its SIA Training Centre (STC) in Upper Changi Road East.

In an e-mail to employees on July 1, the airline said this hub will encompass a new building and include two existing buildings on the site TechSQ and the STC building.

An artist's impression of the new building was included in the email, which was seen by The Straits Times.

The planned move, which will be carried out over several years, confirmed long-running speculation that the company would relocate its existing headquarters from Airline House.

Its staff have long complained about the inaccessibility of SIA's factory-like headquarters at 25 Airline Road, near Changi Airport's runways.

The new hub is about a 10-minute walk from Upper Changi MRT station.
